Rose McGowan

 Rosa Arianna "Rose") McGowan, born September 5 1973, is an American actress. Following her debut film in her brief appearance in the comedy Encino Man (1992), McGowan gained more recognition for her performance in the dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995) with an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance. She had her breakthrough in the film horror Scream (1996) and later featured in the film series Going All the Way (1997), Devil in the Flesh (1998) and Jawbreaker (1999).

She is well-known for her work on the sitcoms Cougar Town, Ground Floor, Undateable, Love, Great News, and B Positive.    Early life and education  Heelan was born in Andover (Massachusetts) to Kimball Heelan, actress and Lowell Public Schools teacher, and Kevin Heelan playwright. Conor is her elder brother. The father of Heelan was a dramatic actor as well as a teacher at Phillips Andover Academy.
