Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 located in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed a knack in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200 meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She set the Junior World Record running 200 metres in 22.18 second. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she won the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She consistently placed at the top of the podium in the events.
