Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed a knack for athletics early on discovering her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for an official career at Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set the new world junior record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three in her various races at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
